Welcome to the SIBYLS beamline

SIBYLS offers High-Throughput Small Angle X-ray Scattering (HT-SAXS) and Size-Exclusion Chromatography Small Angle X-ray Scattering (SEC-SAXS) data collection through our mail-in program.

Log in to book a mail-in SAXS slot. If you don't have an account, you will need to register (see top menu). For instructions on sample prep, shipping and other important information see links at top menu for either HT-SAXS or SEC-SAXS.

Be sure to acknowledge SIBYLS when using data generated at beamline 12.3.1.

ANNOUNCEMENT : The next beam cycle starts on April 5th and will run until July 3rd

• We will open shifts in the beginning of March. If you are on our mailing list, you will get an email notification when shifts are available. If you would like to be on our mailing list, email Kathryn at kburnett@lbl.gov

• If you plan on sending samples for SAXS experiments, you will need to submit a RAPIDD proposal (See instructions for HT or SEC for more information)

• Our beamline scientists hold office hours every Tuesday at 11:00 am (PST) to answer your SAXS questions. Email Kathryn for zoom link.
